Treating your pets as if they were our own

Neutering

We recommend having your pet neutered unless you intend on breeding/showing. Neutering reduces the risk of pyometra (uterine infection), mammary & testicular cancer and prostatitis. Other benefits include a reduction in inappropriate sexual behaviour, urges to wander, aggression and territorial marking.

Prescriptions

Prescription requests are available by phone only. Please allow a minimum of 2 working days for your prescription to be authorised and prepared.

For us to issue 'Prescription Only Medicines' (POM's) your pet must be 'under our care' meaning we must see your pet at least every 6 months. If you wish to purchase your medications from an online pharmacy you will need a written prescription which requires 48 hours notice and incurs an administration charge.

Parasites

There are many different flea and worm treatments on the market and we pride ourselves on providing what we feel are the best and safest treatments available.

All our products are prescription only medicines (POM-V's) and are only available from veterinary surgeons.
Please ask a member of staff if you require advice on which treatments are the most suitable for you and your pet.

Microchips

Microchips are implanted into your pet’s scruff and this is a relatively painless procedure. Each microchip has a 15 digit number unique and permanent to your pet and can be tracked back to you should your pet be lost or stolen.

Please ensure that you inform the database if you change your details - particularly address or telephone numbers. Database contact details are provided on your documentation.
